Parkers Chapel enjoyed a successful tennis season and was rewarded with six athletes earning All-State status. The Lady Trojans had two doubles teams finish in the top four in the state tournament with the Trojans adding another in the boys’ semifinals.

Kenlee McAuliffe, Ali Looney, Drue Thomas and Macie Wood earned All-State Girls with Austin Looney and Jordan Arrington making All-State in boys.

“At State, we didn't finish as strong as we would have liked, but nevertheless, we still did very well and had six players who qualified for All-State. I am very pleased with having that many players achieve this honor,” said PC coach Casey Rapp.

“I am so very proud of these players, not only for how they perform during practice and in matches, but also for the sportsmanship they exhibit. All season, these six players have given their all to be their very best in everything they do. All of them are involved in multiple sports and are also taking rigorous AP classes at school. Their achievement in earning All-State shows what caliber of person they are. I could not be more proud of them and the rest of the Parkers Chapel Tennis Team.”

Parkers Chapel won the conference championship and had 12 players earn All-Conference honors with Rebekah Hardy, Molly Housdan, Payne Williams, Korbin McAuliffe, Heath Bates and Spencer Frisby joining Kenlee McAuliffe, Ali Looney, Austin Looney, Thomas, Wood and Arrington.
