MAGNOLIA - West Side Christian wrapped up play at the Columbia Christian Preseason Classic on Friday with the Warriors and Lady Warriors sweeping a trio of games.
The Warriors picked up a pair of wins, topping Gospel Light 60-44 and Christian Ministries Academy 59-41.
In their win over Gospel Light, the Warriors got balanced scoring with three players finishing in double digits.
John Wylie led the way with 20 points, while Anderson Colley had 12 points and Sam Wylie added 10 points.
Stephfan Tabe added 12 rebounds in the win.
Against Christian Ministries Academy, Tabe had a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds for the Warriors.
Zackley Pearson and John Wylie were the leading scorers with 15 points each with Pearson also grabbing six rebounds.
The Lady Warriors cruised to a 47-4 win over Gospel Light in their outing on Friday.
Rylee Scriber had 16 points, while Brooklin Pitard had a double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds.
Sidney Botner had eight points for West Side Christian.
On the first day of the tournament on Thursday, the Warriors split two games, downing Garrett Memorial 56-47 before losing to Southwest Christian 70-41.
In the win over Garrett Memorial, Tabe had 34 points and Wylie added 11 points.
The duo scored 15 points apiece in the loss to Southwest Christian.
The Lady Warriors were upended on Thursday, falling to Garrett Memorial 47-25.
Scriber had eight points and Pitard added six points.
The Warriors have a 4-2 record on the season, while the Lady Warriors are 2-1.
