The Union County Conservation District is reminding trappers of the beaver control program that pays a $10 bounty per beaver.

To be eligible for the bounty, the trapper must be registered with the conservation district, have a valid hunting license and the beaver must have been trapped in Union County. Funding for the program is provided by the Union County Quorum Court and the Arkansas Natural Resources Commission.

For more information and a copy of the rules and regulations, contact the district office at 870-863-8634.
