Camden Police look for man in suspected double homicide

Jory Worthen, 23, of Camden is wanted by investigators for questioning in relation to the death of Alyssa Cannon and her 4-year-old son.

According to the police report, Cannon’s family reported to the Camden Police Department today that they had not been able to get in contact with her since Saturday. She and her son were last known to be with Worthen. Investigators then filed a missing persons report and turned it over to Criminal Investigations.

At approximately 12:45 p.m. today, investigators found the bodies of Cannon and her son in her residence at 1338 Ronald Drive in Camden according to the report. Both bodies have been sent to Arkansas State Crime for an autopsy.

Investigators are now searching for Worthen and suspect he may be driving Cannon’s 2007 white Honda Accord with the Arkansas license place 921YVE. Worthen is wanted for double homicide and should be considered very dangerous.
