Gafford drafted by Chicago Bulls

Daniel Gafford has found his NBA home.

The Chicago Bulls selected the former El Dorado standout with the 38th overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft Thursday night.

Gafford, who turned pro after two seasons at Arkansas, was a first-team All-SEC selection after leading the Razorbacks in scoring at 16.7 points per game and rebounding at 8.6 boards per game as a sophomore this past season.

The Bulls selected North Carolina guard Coby White with the seventh pick in the draft.

Four years ago, the Bulls went to Arkansas for their first-round selection, taking Bobby Portis with the 22nd pick back in 2015.
