Vivien Diane Roberts Frisby, age 72, of Lake Village, AR, gained her wings on June 9, 2019. She left us peacefully in her sleep at home. She was born August 13, 1946, in the Naval Hospital on Mare Island in San Francisco Bay, CA.
Her life began full of travel with her mother and sister as they joined her father in the Air Force. She loved sharing memories of her favorite places including Iceland and where she graduated at Yamato High School, Japan. During her life she was a respiratory therapist, dog trainer and security guard. She had a very green thumb and was an avid animal lover. She was very talented and creative artistically. From crochet to sewing, painting, wood burning, ceramics and knitting to working with stained glass. She could do most all of it.
She is preceded in death by daughter, Denita Helene Frisby; father Howard G. Roberts; and mother Retha L. Graves Roberts.
She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Larry G. Frisby of Lake Village, AR. They met at the University of Arkansas in Monticello and were married on July 12, 1968. She is also survived by daughter, Dyanna Dawn Atkins (Shane) of Louann, AR; a son, Jason T. Frisby (Tiffany) of Magnet Cove, AR; sister Sherry Roberts Norris, of Southside, AL; four grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family members.
In honor of her memory, the family will have a Celebration of Life Service at Bishop-King Funeral Home, 1831 Hwy 65 and 82 S. Lake Village, Arkansas, June 14, 2019 at 11 a.m. Visitation to be from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. with the celebration following. Arrangements are by Bishop-King Funeral Home, Lake Village, Arkansas.
