Daniel Gafford’s waiting time is over.

After being selected in the second round with the 38th overall pick in last month’s NBA Draft, Gafford, a former standout at El Dorado, is set to make his debut with the Chicago Bulls.

The Bulls open their summer league schedule tonight against the Los Angeles Lakers.

The game begins at 6:30 p.m. and will be televised by ESPN.

The Bulls will take on Cleveland on July 7, New Orleans on July 8 and Charlotte on July 10 to round out their four-game schedule.

The top eight teams will then be seeded for a tournament.

Gafford turned pro after spending two years at Arkansas.

As a sophomore with the Razorbacks, Gafford led the team in scoring at 16.9 points per game and rebounding at 8.7 rebounds per game.

Prior to selecting Gafford, the Bulls tabbed North Carolina guard Coby White with the seventh overall pick in the draft.
