CLAUDIA E. TAYLOR PLUNKETT

Claudia Elizabeth Taylor Plunkett (Lizzie) passed away suddenly in her home on Friday, January 11th. She was 36 years old. We take comfort knowing she is reunited in heaven with her dad George, her Nana Louise and her infant daughter Georgia. Lizzie had so many friends in El Dorado and the rest of Arkansas who will miss her loving presence forever.

Lizzie was born and raised in El Dorado. She attended Holy Redeemer Elementary, Rogers Middle School and graduated from El Dorado High School in 2000. Lizzie chose New York University for her undergraduate work and received her Bachelor’s degree in 2005. She returned to Arkansas for her legal education and graduated from UALR Law School in 2009.

Lizzie began her law practice in El Dorado and married Robert Plunkett in 2012, starting her new family with Robert and his daughter Cheyanne. After losing their infant daughter Georgia in 2015, Lizzie and Robert welcomed the light of their life, daughter Birdie Grace Plunkett in 2016.

Lizzie loved dogs, horses, cats, birds, Guinea pigs and all other animals. She had fun with her family and friends all the time, whether swimming, boating, fishing or just laughing and talking. She lived a short but full life and will be missed so much by all those who knew and loved her.

Lizzie is survived by her husband Robert and daughters Cheyanne and Birdie, all of El Dorado, her mother Claudia Taylor of El Dorado, her brother Clay Taylor of Little Rock, her Aunts Ruth Berry and Martha McGahey of Columbus, Mississippi, Aunt Joyce Robustelli of Sheridan, Aunt Julia McCleve of Gilbert, Arizona, many cousins and countless friends and loved ones.

Cremation services will be handled by Young’s Funeral Home. There will be a private, family internment. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Union County Animal Protection Society (UCAPS) or CASA Union County.
