Junction City tops Fordyce

JUNCTION CITY - Junction City pushed its win streak to five in a row Thursday as the Lady Dragons beat Fordyce 46-38.

“It’s a big win for us,” said Junction City coach Henry Harrell.

“After going to Spring Hill and beating them, coming back and beating Fordyce, it was a big win for us tonight. We’re playing pretty good ball, right now.”

The Lady Dragons (5-3, 5-1) led 10-5 after one quarter and 26-15 at the half. The lead was 32-19 going into the fourth.

Bryanna Raye led Junction City with 18 points. Taykeetria Rogers contributed 10 points, six steals, six rebounds and five assists. Jada Archie had six points and five rebounds. Keaundra Jackson had five boards.

Atracia Moore and Caitlyn Bulliner scored 19 points apiece for the Lady Bugs (5-13, 2-6).
