LITTLE ROCK - El Dorado placed four players in double figures, but it wasn’t enough, as J.A. Fair rallied from an eight-point deficit at the end of the third quarter to top the Wildcats 56-54 in 5A South play Tuesday night.

Joderrio Ramey had 17 points for the Wildcats (5-7, 1-1), while Brendan Simmons added 13 points.

Jarmel Love finished with 12 points and Brenden Johnson scored 10 points to round out El Dorado’s double-digit scorers.

The Wildcats led 13-12 at the end of the first quarter and 26-24 at intermission before expanding their lead in the third quarter.

The Wildcats will host Hot Springs in league play Friday night.
