The El Dorado Historic District Commission will meet at noon today in the second-floor conference room of City Hall. The commission is expected to elect 2019 officers and discuss two vacancies. One position is open to a property owner within the city’s commercial historic district, which roughly borders downtown El Dorado, and the other is open to an architect, landscape architect, urban/city planner or a similar profession. Anyone who is interested in serving on the EHDC may request an application by calling City Clerk Heather McVay at 881-4877.
Commissioners are also expected to schedule a strategic planning retreat.
