Harold Glen Wilson, age 83, died Friday at Methodist Hospital in Memphis. He was born January 28, 1935 in Marvell the son of James Carl and Allie Mae Johnson Wilson. Glen was a 1953 graduate of Marvell High School before entering the US Marines. Glen retired from the Los Angeles Police department after 20 years as Sgt. of Police/Detective III and from Clean Harbors/Ensco as a Safety Engineer. He also earned his MPA degree at USC. He was a member of the County Line Missionary Baptist Church, the Los Angeles Retired Fire and Police Association, American Legion and VFW.
Glen is survived by a son: Steve Wilson of Pine Bluff, AR
Three daughters: Donna Lyn Dunigan of Bridge City, TX, Tomi Wilson of Mesa, AZ, and Lori Graham of Sheridan, AR,
One sister: Sue Birchfield (Johnnie) of Carthage, TX
Eight grandchildren: Christopher Wilson, Kimberly Sanders, Drew Talley, Shawn Brewer, Ethan Graham, Rachel Graham, Steven Dunigan, Richard Dunigan
Eight great grandchildren: Warren Wilson, Cameron Glen Wilson, Annslie Talley, Georgia Paige Sanders, Joshua Dunigan, Alyssa Dunigan, Ashlyn Dunigan, Luke Dunigan
He was preceded in death by his parents, two wives; Rosa Stumberg Wilson and Tollice Whitson Wilson, a daughter; Darci Kay Wilson, two brothers; Keith Wilson and James Carl Wilson Jr., and a sister; Juanita Wilson Combs Farnell
Visitation: 5-7 p.m. Friday January 11 at Bob Neal & Son-Brickell Funeral Home.
Funeral services: 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Bob Neal & Sons-Brickell Funeral Home in Marvell.
