Speaker's Circuit

Sarah Bauldree will be the guest speaker when the El Dorado Kiwanis Club meets on Wednesday at the First Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall.

Bauldree, BSN, RNC, was born in Florida and her family moved around until they settled in Magnolia, AR in 1996. She finished high school there and attended Southern Arkansas University where she met her future husband, Pate Bauldree. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2006 then attended the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2009.

Pate and Sarah married in 2010 and moved to Texas for 5 and a half years. In 2012, Sarah was diagnosed with stage 1c ovarian cancer and has been in remission since 2013. The couple have now lived in El Dorado since 2015 to be near their family and friends. Pate works at El Dorado High School teaching algebra and sponsoring the EHS Key Club and Sarah teaches practical nursing at South Arkansas Community College. Last November she had the honor of running in the New York City Marathon for the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition to raise awareness and support for Ovarian Cancer. Come meet Sarah this Wednesday.

Kiwanis Club meetings are open to the public and a catered meal is available for purchase.
