St. Vestal CME Church will host “Keeping It In The Family” sustainable Forestry and African-American Land Retention Workshop August 28 from noon to 3 p.m. Topics discussed: getting started; fragmentation land; forestry management; financial assistance; heir property; farm numbers; conservation programs and coming together. Faith In The Word Christian Center will honor Pastor Erma & Minister Elect Darry Jackson Sr. 19th year of Leadership Service.
