Two former Union County standouts on the gridiron saw action in NFL exhibition games Thursday night.

Kenneth Dixon, a former standout at Strong and Louisiana Tech, had four carries for 21 yards in Baltimore’s 29-0 win over Jacksonville.

Dixon, who netted 16 yards on one of his carries, rushed for 333 yards and two touchdowns on 60 carries last year.

Dixon didn’t catch any passes in the Ravens’ win, but was targeted once.

The Ravens will host Green Bay next Thursday in their second of four exhibition games.

Former El Dorado and Arkansas standout Bijhon Jackson saw playing time in Carolina’s 23-13 win over Chicago, finishing with one solo tackle.

Jackson played for the Atlanta Legends of the Alliance of American Football during the spring.

Carolina will host Buffalo next Friday.
