Gloria Jean Rogers, 67, of El Dorado, died peacefully Wednesday, April 11, 2019 at her home in Three Creeks.
Gloria was the daughter of Virginia Jerry and Hugh Andrews; she was born December 31, 1951 in El Dorado, where she grew up and married John W. Rogers. She was a homemaker, mom, and granny. She was, and still is, the most precious person in the world to her family and they will miss her every day. She was a dedicated member of Shepherd’s Chapel where she studied her Bible daily.
Preceding her in death are her parents, Virginia Jerry and Hugh Andrews.
Survivors include her husband, John W. Rogers; son, John Andy Rogers (Danielle) of El Dorado; and daughter, Carmon Cole (Doug) of El Dorado. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Derek and Dillon Cole of El Dorado, who were the center of her life. She also includes Dess McCoy as part of her loving family.
Funeral services will be private to her immediate family, but other family members and friends are welcome to come by her home and talk about how special she was to everyone.
Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Young’s Funeral Directors.
