West Side Christian hosted Ambassador Baptist Academy of Malvern in volleyball action Tuesday at the Warrior Center.

The Lady Warriors won the varsity match 3-0 on scores of 25-14, 25-9, 25-5.

West Side improved to 4-0 overall and is 2-0 in conference.

"We played against a young and short-handed ABA team tonight and started off a little bit slow,” said West Side coach Adam Willett.

“As the game progressed, we were able to clean up some of our early efficiency problems and finished the game well."

Anna Williams led the Lady Warriors with 15 aces, 11 assists and nine kills.

Lauren Land had 12 kills and three blocks.

Brooklin Pitard recorded 12 assists and seven kills.

Ambassador Christian Academy won the JV match 25-16, 25-8.

West Side Christian hosts Cornerstone Christian Academy on Friday.
