HAMPTON - Strong came up empty in its quest for a road win Friday night, as Hampton downed the Bulldogs 51-0 in an 8-2A contest.

X-Zavier McHenry had 24 yards rushing on seven carries, while LeAndrew Greer had 15 yards on nine carries for Strong (0-6, 0-3).

Defensively, Davonte Henry and Troy Rowland racked up four tackles apiece for Strong.

Hampton (3-2, 2-1) led 36-0 at intermission.

After a two-game road swing, Strong will host Johnson County Westside next Friday in a non-conference clash at Jerry Burson Field.
