HOT SPRINGS – El Dorado competed in the 4A-6A State Cheerleading Championships Saturday at the Hot Springs Convention Center. The Wildcat cheerleaders finished third.
El Dorado, which was fifth going into the finals, scored 95.10 to place behind state champion Shiloh Christian (96.20) and runner-up Nettleton (96.15).
“We executed well today and I could not be more any more proud of this team,” said El Dorado coach Tab Bledsoe.
Cabot, which was the top scorer heading into the finals, finished fourth (94.65) followed by Bentonville West (94.45) and Alma (92.85).
