The El Dorado Historic District Commission will meet at noon today in the South Arkansas Historical Preservation Society/Union County Sports Hall of Fame building, 412 E. Faulkner.
Blake Dunn, of CADM Architecture, is expected to provide an update on a Certificate of Appropriateness request for new signage at First Financial Music Hall at the Griffin, 101 E. Locust. The EHDC tabled the COA request in October, citing concerns and questions about the conceptual design and placement of the sign.
COAs are required for most work within that would alter the historic integrity of structures within the city’s commercial historic district.
