Funeral services for Eva Nell Brazzel, age 79, of Ruston, LA will be held at 10 AM on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at Corinth Baptist Church near Dubach, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston. Rev. Scott Jennings, Rev. Ronnie Dyes and Rev. Dwayne Ramsey will officiate. Interment will follow at Corinth Cemetery near Dubach, LA.
Mrs. Eva Nell Brazzel was born on October 20, 1936 and passed away on September 2, 2016. She was a member of Corinth Baptist Church and a retired sales associate for Wal Mart. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Brazzel; parents, Grady and Minnie Duke; brother and sister-in-law: Hershel and Ruth Duke; brother, Joe Duke; and daughter-in-law, Heather Brazzel.
She is survived by three sons: Sherrill Wayne Brazzel, Gary Lane Brazzel and wife, Amber, and James Truett Brazzel and wife, Lindsay, all of Ruston; Sister; Mary Ann White of Smackover, AR; cousin, Rose Hood of Dubach; brother-in-law Gene Brazzel and wife Carolyn of Ruston; sisters-in-law: Murlene Benedict of Ruston, LA, Janice Finley of Choudrant, LA, Hilda Estes and husband, Mack, of Ruston, LA; 11 grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter.
Pallbearers will be Jim O’Neal, Eric Brazzel, Willie Ashcraft, James Benson, Tony Holtzclaw, and Robert O’Neal. Honorary pallbearer is Keith Brazzel.
The family would like to send special thanks to Dr. Osafo, Premier Hospice and the staff at North Louisiana Medical Center.
Visitation will be Monday, September 5, 2016 from 5 – 7 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston.
