Emile Leighton Turbeville and Matthew MacMillan Snyder were united in marriage at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, April 25, 2015, at the First Presbyterian Church in El Dorado with the Kent Jobe officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Joe Turbeville II, of El Dorado, and the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Oliver Jr., of El Dorado, and Mrs. Evelyn Turbeville and the late Bobby Joe Turbeville.

She is a a 2007 graduate of El Dorado High School and a 2012 graduate of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, of Little Rock, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She is currently employed as a registered nurse at UAMS in Little Rock.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Roger Snyder, of Little Rock, and the grandson of Mr. Thomas James and the late Mrs. Kathleen James, of Fort Pierce, Fla., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Alva Snyder.

He is a 2007 graduate of Little Rock Central High School and a 2011 graduate of the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in finance and a minor in information systems. He is currently employed as a technical sales representative for Calumet Specialty Products.

The bride, escorted by her father, wore a cameo Italian silk-satin gown designed by Anne Barge, of Atlanta, Ga. A bateau neckline accented the fitted bodice with a rouched sash encircling the waist. Her ball gown cascaded to a chapel length train. The illusion veil and blushed edged in silk-satin ribbon completed the ensemble. The bride carried a bouquet of white peonies, ivory David Austin roses, white sweet peas and hyacinths.

The maid of honor was Grace Alaine Morrison, of Atlanta, Ga. Other bridal attendants were Meghan Snyder, sister of the groom, Jennifer Elise Allen, Katherine Cloud, Cameron Housley, Cara Cameron, Emily Tennyson and Meaghan O’Brien. Attendants wore champagne Dupioni silk dresses and carried bouquets of David Austin roses and sweet peas.

The best man was the brother of the groom, James Wesley Emmet III, of Little Rock. Other groomsmen were Bobby Joe Turbeville III, of Fayetteville, brother of the bride, and Edward William Bailey, Nathan Hank, Blair Lowther, Nicholos Hall, Andrew Scherz, Blayne Elliot and Stuart Shenep.

Those in attendence at the house party were all cousins of the bride. They were Mary Helene Brady, of Little Rock, and Rachel and Haley Anzalone, Katie Carruth, and Hannah Turbeville, all of El Dorado.

The flower girl was Olive Emmet, the groom’s niece, and the daughter of James Emmet III, of Little Rock.

Ushers were Jennings Morgan, of Little Rock, and Colby Warren, of Austin, Texas.

Nuptial music was provided by organist Walter Hale, of Magnolia and violinist Joseph Shackleford of El Dorado, with vocalist Margaret Ellis, from Mountain Home.

A reception followed the ceremony at the El Dorado Golf and Country Club.

A rehearsal dinner was hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Roger Snyder at the South Arkansas Arts Center on Friday, April 25.

Following the ceremony the couple will honeymoon in Costa Rica. They will reside in Little Rock.
