Making a clean living

A group of four on-duty firefighters and two currently training firefighters picked up wax rather than a fire axe Friday at the El Dorado Fire Department’s Central Station Friday. The group was working hard to clean the vehicle the department utilizes to transport in-training firefighters to and from the 8-week fire academy. Waxing is done during the week and the Central station, with the car cleaning taking place on Fridays and the engines generally being cleaned on Wednesdays and Thursdays. (Matt Hutcheson/News-Times)
