Born Nov. 6, 1911, in El Dorado, she was the daughter of Julius DeBruin and Lukie (Franklin) DeBruin. She was a secretary for the Social Security Administration and a member of First Bap JAMES E. MAGBYA memorial service for James Eugene Magby, 42, of Smackover, will begin at 11 a.m. today at Sweet Canaan Baptist Church with the Rev. Anthony Traylor officiating, and under the direction of Andrews Funeral Home. The family will meet with friends in the church fellowship hall after the service.
