El Dorado eased into the pads Thursday as the Wildcats continued their two-a-day practices. The evening practice concluded with some spirited team competition as the offense worked on a lot of its running plays.

“I’m pleased with today,” said Coach Scott Reed. “I’m pleased with the way we handled the ball. First day in pads, it got a little muggy. I think we fumbled one snap and with the twos in, we fumbled the ball on the sideline. Other than that, we did a great job handling the ball in inside and team.”
