PARKERS CHAPEL - With a slight break from the extreme heat and humidity on Thursday, Parkers Chapel donned pads for the first time in their preparations for the upcoming season, and coach Stan Sims was pleased with what he saw in the Trojans’ pair of practices.

“I’m excited, we did real well,” Sims said. “We decided last night to hit with full speed, but not take tackles to the ground. We worked on locking up with the arms around the body, and driving with the legs. We had some pretty good licks.”
