NORPHLET – Toward the conclusion of Norphlet’s second practice Thursday, coach Dennis Steele couldn’t have been happier with his squad.

The veteran coach loudly praised his team for their efforts and the student-athletes fed off of the emotion.

According to Steele, it’s been that kind of atmosphere throughout Norphlet’s two-a-day workouts.

“This is the best first four days of practice we’ve had since I’ve been here,” he stated. “We’re working as a team and we’re working very hard. There are no bad attitudes. Everyone is working together.” ...
