The Junction City Dragons worked out for two hours Thursday morning, the first practice in full pads.

The football team was scheduled to practice Thursday evening and will have two practices today to conclude the week.

Head coach David Carpenter said the first day in full pads went well, though pretty typical.

“For the first time in pads it was a lot of the same old stuff,” he said by telephone Thursday morning. “Trying to knock the old rust off.”
