Dinner auction to benefit Junction City athletics

Admission for the catfish dinner and auction will be $12. JUNCTION CITY - A special dinner and auction are planned for Saturday night with proceeds to benefit the Junction City Dragons Athletic Activities Foundation. The not-for-profit group is seeking to raise funds to “supplement the extracurricular needs of the students in the Junction City School District,” according to a letter sent out by the group’s President, Dr. Rebecca A. Luper. The catfish dinner and silent auction will begin at 6 p.m. Saturday in the school’s multipurpose room.
