SMACKOVER - The blistering hot weather that South Arkansas has enjoyed this summer is a tool that football coaches across the state are using to see just how well their respective teams can hold up in the most extreme of conditions. Such is the case at Smackover, where two-a-days continued on Wednesday, and coach Joe Black likes the hot weather as a way to build toughness for his team. “We like the heat here and we think it builds character,” Black said. “It really makes a young man dedicate himself.
