Area girls play in AAU National Tourney
The high school basketball season ended several months ago but that hasn’t stopped athletes in Union County from playing. In addition to all the team camps and individual camps, a few area girls joined summer AAU-type teams.
Four of those girls competed against the best in the country in the AAU National Tournament. Smackover’s Kendra Marsh and Viana Stanley and Parkers Chapel’s Savanna Langston and Mallory Selman all competed in the AAU National Tournament in their respective age groups.
