Wells loses during match play round

DALLAS - El Dorado’s Elizabeth Wells lost to Ashley Freeman of Belleville, Ill.,Wednesday in the 78th Women’s TRANS Amateur Championship, held at Bent Tree Country Club.

Freeman, a sophomore at Texas A&M, downed Wells, who will be a freshman at SMU, 7 and 5 in the first round of match play
