After winning a pair of games to stave off elimination, the El Dorado All-Stars were knocked out of the Cal Ripken 11-Year-Old State Tournament with a 15-5 setback at the hands of the DeWitt All-Stars.

DeWitt quickly put El Dorado in a large hole by scoring six runs in the top of the first inning. Drew Boyd led off the game with a base hit and Cody Fox was safe on a fielder’s choice. A throwing error on the play allowed Boyd to take third, and Jacob Clawson followed with an RBI single to put DeWitt on the scoreboard.
