El Dorado’s Elizabeth Wells has played in golf tournaments all over the country. Today, she tests the altitude in Denver as she competes in the U.S. Women’s Amateur Sectional Qualifier at the Colorado Golf Club. Wells is attempting to qualify for the U.S. Women’s Amateur.

“Because of my schedule, the only two places I could go was to Kansas or Colorado. Kansas is flat, hot and windy and I didn’t really want to go to flat, hot and windy,” explained Wells of her choice of sectional qualifiers.
