Winners of fishing tourney revealed

Winners of the recent 2008 Perch Jerk Classic at Moro Bay State Park were recently announced by Paul Butler, park interpreter. He said 68 teams participated in the bream and crappie fishing tournament and 147 prizes were given away.

Winners include first place, Alan Doss and Sam Perry (8 pounds, 6 ounces); second place, Tommy Dopson and David Waterfield (7 pounds, 14 ounces); third place, Robert and Vicki Bledsoe (7 pounds, 7 ounces); Big Bream, Genia Roy (11 oz) and Big Crappie, Michael Wilkerson (1 pound, 7 ounces).
