NORPHLET - The Norphlet Leopards concluded their annual spring practices with a scrimmage Thursday afternoon.

According to Leopard coach Dennis Steele, the 10 days of practice functioned smoothly.

“During the two weeks, we got the basis of our offense in, which is a very good thing,” he said. “The running backs did well, receivers became used to their new routes and the linemen learned the new schemes. Everything went very well this spring.”

The team leaders ended the workouts with a quality performance, he added.
