El Dorado ready for state meet
 News-Times/Larry Singer Going the distance...El Dorado's Irene Jadic competes in the Oil Belt Relays this season. The sophomore will be one of the favorites today in the 3,200 and 1,600 at the 6A State Track Meet in Pearcy. After solid performances in the 6A-South Track Meet last week, El Dorado’s girls and boys teams are looking forward to competing in the 6A State Meet today at Lake Hamilton. The Lady Wildcats finished second in conference with the Wildcats coming off a third place showing. Bolstering El Dorado’s chances will be the absence of sprinters Fred Rose of Texarkana and Whitney Jones of Searcy.
