Parkers Chapel got the performance it hoped for.

The Lady Trojans rolled by Midland for an easy 12-2 victory in round one of the Class 2A State Softball Tournament in Rector Friday.

Parkers Chapel (21-7) held a 5-1 lead at the end of the first.

However, coach Rhonda Swilley’s squad blew the game open in the second.

In that inning, PC got hits from Caitlin Barron, Lindsey Copes, Allie Tucker, and Tayvia Brownmiller.
