MOUNTAIN HOME - El Dorado advanced in the 6A State Softball Tournament Friday with a 2-1 victory over Sylvan Hills. The Lady Wildcats play Mountain Home today at noon.

El Dorado scored two runs on seven hits and, behind freshman Whitney Milhollen, held the Lady Bears to just four hits in the game.

“Awesome effort today,” said El Dorado coach Lyn Benson, “they played like a team. There was a lot of support for each other. It was a unified effort. We’re hoping it continues (today).”
