El Dorado put an emphasis on its track and field program this season. That effort paid off Wednesday as the Lady Wildcats finished second and the Wildcats placed third in the 6A South Track & Field Championships at Scott Field in Little Rock.

It was an amazing showing, especially for the girls, who haven’t fielded a full team in more than a decade.
