Forget just winning one game, the El Dorado Lady Wildcats are serious in their desire to claim the state crown.

The Lady Wildcats (18-9) enter today’s first round Class 6A State Softball Tournament contest against Sylvan Hills with a rather green team. Coach Lyn Benson’s bunch is led by it’s lone senior Cassie Martin.

Other than Martin, El Dorado is heavily dependent upon a talented group of sophomores and freshmen.
