The Union County Election Commission has met to determine ballot positions for the upcoming elections.

The following are ballot positions drawn Thursday and Monday for candidates in contested races for the 2010 Preferential Primary and nonpartisan judicial races to be held May 18:

U.S. Senate, Democrat

2. U.S. Sen. Blanche Lambert Lincoln

3. Lt. Gov. Bill Halter

U.S. Senate, Republican

1. Fred Ramey

2. Jim Holt

3. Sen. Kim Hendren
