Camille Gathright, 18, of Strong, is recovering this week in a Louisiana hospital after being severely injured in an ATV accident that killed 20-year-old Adam R. Mason of Spearsville, La.

The accident happened around 12:20 a.m. on May 25 north of Farmerville, La. According to a Louisiana State Police report, Mason was driving a Can Am four-wheeler, on which Gathright was a passenger, north on Daniel Road when he rear-ended a Honda four-wheeler that had been traveling in front of him.
