Working America, a community affiliate of the AFL-CIO, will be canvassing El Dorado in support of the Employee Free Choice Act from about 4 to 8 p.m. today, according to organizers.

Supporters have issued a news release calling Working America “the nation’s fastest growing organization for working families,” with more than two million members working on issues related to jobs and the economy. The affiliate is designed especially for workers “who cannot form a union to have a support network,” according to the release.
