MORO BAY – Several high water photographs (see Page 6A) were taken Sunday at Moro Bay when the Ouachita River was at 86.1 in the morning and rose to 86.5 by about 2 p.m., according to Paul Butler, park interpreter.

Butler said the visitor center is now a small island with water running under it, but as of Monday, telephones and Internet service were still working.
