To enforce or not to enforce?

That was the question posed to El Dorado City Council members on Thursday when city Code Enforcement Officer Rodney Wimberly discussed some of the problems he has been encountering with enforcement of the city’s sign ordinance.

Wimberly said he wanted to introduce some sticking points that he said are sure to raise the ire of commercial property owners once he and Code Enforcement Officer Benny Brumley start enforcing the sign code that is on the books.
