The National Day of Prayer will be celebrated locally beginning with a El Dorado Kiwanis Club Prayer Breakfast from 6:30 until 7:45 a.m. on Thursday at the First Baptist Church Christian Life Center. Tickets to the breakfast are $5.

Margie Hill, pianist for the El Dorado Kiwanis Club, will provide music prior to Thursday’s National Day of Prayer service and the Rev. Sterling Claypoole will welcome those in attendance and voice a blessing for the food. Claypoole is minister to students at First Baptist Church on Main Street.
