Retired Circuit Judge Ted Capeheart of Ashdown has been appointed to oversee the case of Union County Justice of the Peace Jack Reynolds, who was arrested in 2008 on seven felony counts of aggravated assault.

A termination order from the State Supreme Court was filed last week in the Union County Circuit Clerk’s Office involving special appointed Judge Jim Hudson of Texarkana, who had been appointed to the criminal case. Hudson will not be able to oversee the case due to medical reasons.
