Body found at pharmacy identified as that of owner

MAGNOLIA — The body of a man that was found Wednesday morning at Moody Pharmacy has been positively identified as the owner, Don Moody, 62, of Magnolia.

Detective Todd Dew of the Magnolia Police Department said that Moody died from a gunshot wound to the chest. A rifle was found at the scene.

Co-workers discovered Moody’s body when they arrived Wednesday morning to open the business at 234 S. Frederick St.

The body has been sent to the Arkansas State Crime Lab for an autopsy.
