CAMDEN – The cabins at Moro Bay State Park haven’t even opened yet and already park superintendent Mark Myers has been inundated with calls for reservations.

The five housekeeping cabins — each raised 10 feet off the ground to prevent flooding — will feature 1,100 square feet of space, which includes a kitchen, great room, two bedrooms and two bathrooms, as well as an outside living area where guests can cook on a provided grill.

The cabins are slated to open sometime this summer, Myers told members of the Ouachita River Commission Tuesday at their quarterly meeting. Log-In to view full story or view our Registration Guide.
